To shop just swipe your mobile phone across the payment terminal and press OK to carry out the purchase.

As a consumer all you need to do is to register a PayEx Account on the PayEx home page, top it up with money and send the payment application to your mobile phone. In 5 minutes you are ready to pay with PayEx Mobile!*

If your mobile phone does not have NFC, order an RFID tag. The tag will be sent to your home, put it on the telephone and you can also swipe your purchases!

* Because a payment code is always generated when your telephone is in pay mode you can make a purchase even without NFC/RFID. However, it is faster and more fun with NFC/RFID!

Because the service is independent of your mobile phone bill or cash card you can even lose your mobile without the risk of losing the money in your account. The application is also protected by a 4-6 character PIN code which the user chooses themselves.

3 How it works

When you have started a PayEx Account, deposited an amount of money in it and installed the application on your mobile phone, you can pay using PayEx Mobile at affiliate merchants.

You start the application by entering a PIN code. To make a purchase select PAY in the menu on your mobile phone. At the same time the merchant enters the relevant amount in their payment terminal. you can then choose to pay by entering the code displayed on your mobile phone, or by swiping the mobile across the terminal. (In the latter case you need an activated RFID tag attached to your telephone.) Finally you approve the payment by pressing OK or, for amounts above SEK 300, by entering your PIN code.

Shopping on the internet works in the same way, except only using the payment code.

4 RFID-tag

You need an RFID tag to swipe. An RFID tag is a sticker which you can secure to the back of your mobile phone or directly onto the battery. The tag is connected either by an activation code or in one of the payment terminals. An RFID tag costs SEK 30 and can be ordered in you PayEx Account under PayEx Mobile or here on the home page. This purchase is carried out as a PayEx Mobile internet purchase, using the payment code.
