PayEx expands into Finland

The PayEx Group is continuing to grow on the Nordic market. The acquisition of Finnish company Oy Soumen Laskunhallinta means PayEx now has a physical presence in Finland too.  

Oy Soumen Laskunhallinta AB provides online and print invoice payment services. The company has been wholly acquired by the PayEx Group and will shortly be renamed PayEx Oy.

PayEx is anticipating rapid growth in Finland and has already started recruiting new employees. The Finnish office will provide the platform for the full range of PayEx services that will now be available in Finland. PayEx Finance CEO Jörgen Petterson is delighted with the acquisition and sees major advantages in being able to offer PayEx solutions throughout the entire Nordic region.

“PayEx Oy will enable PayEx to gain a complete Nordic overview of payment flows for companies at local, national and international level,” says Pettersson.

Oy Soumen Laskunhallinta CEO Mauno Lehtonen is to be country manager for PayEx Oy. Lehtonen feels joining such a large group as PayEx is a win/win opportunity.
